The Strength To Keep Going

To be honest it has been hard to write at all. My own personal journals are sitting untouched right now. At times it is just too painful to write the words that you know are true. I have been told that I am expecting too much from myself and that I need to step back and thank God for the one or two things each day that I am able to accomplish. Plain and simple, grief is exhausting.

Cadence and I have been enjoying a new Hermie cd that has all scripture songs about not being afraid. Today one of the verses was talking about trusting in God and Cadence asked me if I trusted in God, because she said that she did. God is using her to remind me of truth. I am praising the Lord with Hermie! =) (for those of you who don't know who Hermie is, he is a green caterpiller, a character by Max Lucado) I love the cd for Cadence because she goes around the house quoting scripture and it keeps playing in my mind as well.

HEART WALK UPDATE.....
For those of you who would still like to join us on Saturday, March 17 you do not have to pay or buy anything to walk. The walk is at Falls Park downtown Greenville. The walk starts at 10am, but you will want to come early to park and find our group. Lindsey's Team has raised almost $5,000. We have 75 people walking with us so far. If you need more info, please email us at bamaboehms@charter.net. Or you can look at the previous post and go to Lindsey's Team Page and join or team.

Hi Laura. I continue to think of you often and pray for you and your family. Did the heart walk go well? I am glad that you guys were able to do that in honor of Lindsey. I will keep praying for God's strength to carry you. Psalm 46:1
