Remembering Lindsey on November 7

The following notes and pictures will hopefully give you a glimpse of how we spent the day remember Lindsey and reflecting on God's sustaining grace.

On November 6 my dear friends Sara and Andrea helped me make some flower arrangements that we took on the 7th to Lindsey's school, & "The Little Gym" (where she met Jesus).

We made a few special arrangements for grandmothers and friends. Then we made a wreath for our front door that you can see in the picture below.

Our friends Ryan & Danielle and Todd & Carrissa went to every business on Woodruff Road that had a marque and asked if they would put the words "Remembering Lindsey" on their sign. Two businesses agreed to do it all day on the 7th. This Chick-fil-A ironically is right in front of where the "The Little Gym" is located. This was such a thoughtful way for our friends so show us that they miss and love Lindsey!

On the evening of the 7th we had over 40 people come by our home to show their love and to remember Lindsey. Our family and friends, Sara and Cory, gave us a priceless gift. Lindsey's memorial service framed. It now hangs in our dining room. It is a beautiful remembrance of what God has done for us. It still brings us to tears, but seeing her face and her drawings of how she loves Jesus assures us that her testimony lives and many lives have been touched.

Laura,
The flowers were absolutely beautiful, just like Lindsey. I actually took the day off on November 7th, It's still hard for me to go in sometimes... but when I came in the next day and saw the flowers, I was so glad that you thought of us here. Thank you so much.

You and your family are always in my prayers.
