Remembering Lindsey 2008

We visited Lindsey's remembering place right as the sun was beginning to set. You can see Cadence kneeling down placing a picture she had made for Lindsey. The colors are beautiful and it helps to remind us that even in our deep sadness the beauty of God's creation surrounds us. Recently Jason and I had the opportunity to share a testimony and I sang a song about the Deep Love of Jesus. The first verse of the song goes like this:

Oh the deep, deep love of Jesus vast unmeasured boundless free

Flowing as a mighty ocean in its fullness over me.

Underneath me all around me

Is the fullness of His love

Leading onward, leading homeward to that glorious rest above!

So many times we can feel in a very tangible way the deep love of Jesus completely surrounding us, for how in the world could we manage such a loss without it. We cling to this love and the hope that it is eternal. Even now come quickly Lord Jesus!
