Celebrating Easter 2008

On Saturday we went to the mountains and enjoyed a fun afternoon at Brights Creek. Cadence and her friends McKenna and Ashelyn enjoyed an egg hunt, painting a horse, horse rides and diving in a haystack for toys!!

Then on Sunday, after a wonderful morning service of worship, we enjoyed Easter lunch and another egg hunt with Grandma and cousins!

Although we had a good day celebrating our Risen Christ, I must admit that I am jealous of Lindsey and my dad and Jason's dad! Wish we could experience the praise and celebration that they had on Easter and everyday for that matter. Heaven is sweeter everyday and we look forward to the clouds rolling back and our Savior coming to claim his own.
Won't that be a glorious day!!

2008 Heart Walk

Heart Walk 2008

On Saturday, March 15 we once again joined Jason's company, TCI, and walked in the Heart Walk for the American Heart Association. In total the team raised over $10,000 in the fight against heart disease. We are so thankful for all those who came and walked with us in the memory of our daughter, Lindsey Grace. Although the forecast was grim, the clouds rolled back just in time for the walk to begin, and then when it was over and we were headed to lunch - it started to rain again! We thank God for even this small blessing that allowed us to walk in the sunshine.

Kirstyn was one of Lindsey's classmates at Bells Crossing. She raised money and came in support of her friend, Lindsey!!
