Will it be a sister or brother?

IT'S A GIRL!!
We are all exicited that Cadence is going to have another sister! This time she gets to be the BIG sister. The ultrasound went well and the doctor says that everything looks great. Just because of history of heart disease we are going to a specialist this Thursday, so continue to pray for a healthy baby.
We are thankful for God's goodness.
ANYONE WALKING IN THE HEART WALK ON MARCH 15, DON'T FORGET TO SIGN UP ON OUR WEBPAGE. THE LINK IS BELOW IN ANOTHER POST.

Up to Date...finally

I have been terrible at keeping the blog up to date. We will have some exciting news in the next few weeks so you will have to keep checking back. I promise to post on Feb. 19, when we find out whether we are having a boy or a girl.

Also, for all of you who participated in the Heart Walk last year we would love for you to come walk with us again this year. Here are the specifics:

American Heart Association Heart Walk

March 15 - Downtown Greenville at Falls Park

Visit the following link if you would like to jon our team and donate to the American Heart Association

If you donate or not, we still would love to have you walk with us in Lindsey's Memory. Jason's company is again focusing their campaign on "Our Heart's Walk For Lindsey" and a new shirt is going to be available.

Trip to California

In late January, Jason traveled to Newport Beach, CA for meetings. I was able to meet him and spend a few days enjoying the west coast. However, to our dismay, it rained - no it was a downpour of rain - everyday we were there. We still had fun and visited the sites we had planned: Hollywood, with the walk of fame, Rodeo Drive, and the Farmers Market. We also drove by the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. We spent a full day in Burbank touring the Warner Bros studios and then attended a taping of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. We had hoped for a guest that we really wanted to see, but with the writer's strike no one wanted to be on the show. Of the trip, we enjoyed our last morning the most. It finally stopped raining for a few hours and we drove up and down the Pacific Coast Highway. It was beautiful; Jason took pictures (a new hobby). We both loved the Newport Beach area and would love to visit again.

Snow Day - January 17

Cadence had prayed for snow all season long! Jason had bought a new sled last year and she was just waiting to use it. We don't see much snow here in Greenville and if you want to enjoy it you have to get up and out before it all melts. Here Jason and Cadence are sledding down our front hill at 8:15am. I enjoyed watching from the garage!

Cadence took out this bush when she came down too fast!

We have a picture of a Lindsey's snow angel in our home and Cadence had never made a snow angel. She wanted to make one just like Lindsey's. Here is her snow angel.

Warming up by the fire with hot chocolate......while dad makes sure they are not missing him too much at work!

Celebrating Christmas and New Year's

We enjoyed hosting our annual "Kids Holiday Party".

From left to right: Claire and Wade, Will and John, Cousins Max, Petra and Kezziah, and the one with the cheesy grin is Cadence! The kids always enjoy the Gingerbread House that "Aunt" Judy brings. However, Cadence informed me that next year we are making gingerbread cookiemen to go with the house!

THE BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

This picture was taken on Christmas Eve minutes after we told our family that we are expecting a baby! Boehm #3 will be born in late June or early July! We are excited and Cadence is thrilled. She is hoping for a brother, she says because she already has a sister! We are thankful that God has blessed us in this way, it is hard to "move on" without Lindsey, but we have always wanted more children and we are looking forward telling this child all about their sister Lindsey who is waiting for us in heaven.

Christmas Eve Family Party

We had a special treat planned for our family....a chocolate fountain!

This Christmas Laura's family decided to "spoil" our mother, Ruth, and makeover her bedroom. This is a picture right before the big reveal.....we had fun spoiling her. Pictured is Tracy (Josh's wife), Laura, Teri (Rick's wife), Rebecca and Cheryl. Sadly Susan was not able to be with us do to her children having the chicken pox.
After the "Greene" Family all went home, we enjoyed another week of New Year's Fun with Jason's sister Jennifer, her twin boys Bryce and Braydn and Grandma Boehm. In this picture the cousins are enjoying making their own pizzas.
